By copying the infamous Toorak couple who copied Rover Thomas, Nat Thomas (half of the disbanded art duo Nat & Ali) looks at the act of appropriation.
She has forged Pamela and Ivan's forgeries, right down to those little sandy speckles meant to suggest the canvases had been dragged over the desert earth, and in her catalogue cheekily suggests that "with a different defence strategy (i.e. art prank) they could have gotten off with a very public rap on the knuckles".
Aside from the Thomas-canvases, there are another 60 pictures here, all of which Nat Thomas (who, unlike the Libertos, signs her own name), insists have been copied too.
Until May 10.
