These husband-and-wife Swiss collaborators have painted and pasted (fabric, feathers, hair, glitter) onto sheets of transparent acrylic and then turned the pictures around so that the acrylic acts much like a sheet of glass on a conventional picture.
But there is not much that is conventional here with the couple's colourful, fantastical scenes accompanied by a mixedmedia installation that has fish and ants making their way to a mass of flowers fashioned from cake icing. Closes today.
