Featuring the work of local and international artists Bootlegger explores the bandanna’s potential as an art object, an element of outlaw style, and celebrates its aesthetic, and cultural roots.
Featured artists are practitioners drawn from the fields of street art and graffiti, fine art, illustration and design.
The selected artists were invited by curator Nails to express their ideas in the form of an original drawing, painting or print for the exhibition, and then reproduced as limited edition bandannas, hand silk-screen printed in Melbourne.
