Gavin Barbey is one of the most versatile figures within the Australian arts scene. The international artist and filmmaker has created more than 10 films since graduating from NIDA, and works across a wide range of media, most recently creating large scale public ice works and exhibitions in New York and Australia.
Please join Gav Barbey for an inspirational afternoon exploring his unique pigmented ice melts, film making, philosophy and techniques.
The workshop will feature a practical demonstration and all participants will be guided by Gav in producing a single ice melt on cotton rag, which will be theirs to keep on completion of the workshop.
